San Francisco Bay Trail

The trail is a paved recreational corridor encircling the San Francisco and San Pablo Bays. I began it with a bike ride from Larkspur, crossed an inlet near San Rafael and headed south to San Francisco.

Along the trail, several views of San Quentin beyond the Corte Madera Ecological Preserve.

Mainly uphill around Ring Mountain.

A stop along Paradise Drive overlooking the bay.

Nice views of San Francisco across the bay from the Tiburon.

Another ferry ride from Tiburon to Sausalito....

....with a brief stop at Angel Island State Park.
